Beautiful and varied, partly steep gorges on narrow paths. Very lonely. Definitely Kloster Himmeroth (historically exciting and beautiful stop), visit Kleine Kyll and Moosberg (crater lake)

Where do I start? First, the landscape is sometimes a great piece of earth, but that's something you know from the Eifel. Unfortunately, I have to say that the track has little in common with MTB driving. Yes, with a normal bike it is certainly nothing but who now hopes many singles, will be disappointed. There are certainly nice long descents but unfortunately this has nothing to do with technical Singles. You can talk about 85% of the road and forest roads in the tour and in some places there are then single runs. Altitude difference, this route already has some and these are not to be despised, if you are not used to 1000HM. Unfortunately, there was no Gasthif on the track, which had opened in the afternoon and invited to a hearty lunch. Ultimately, one might have found something deviating from the tour but we then made up for it in the end in Manderscheidt :-) (was very delicious). Finally, the name may be confusing, as we only saw a castle at the beginning, but again many canyons. If you want to see many maars and avoid them, you should choose a route at Daun. Here there are for sightseeing very beautiful routes, which we drove on Sunday.
